Latest Updates from Our Project:

12 months ago – Tue, Apr 01, 2025 at 08:03:31 PM

Good news, everyone!

We are thrilled to say that all of the digital rewards for Timeless Caverns will be sent out tomorrow, and the remaining physical rewards will also begin to ship. We have about 35 boxed sets to ship, and we are handling them ourselves, so expect an email with the tracking information as they all make their way out over the next few days. The Early Bird rewards will ship immediately thereafter.

We couldn't be more excited about how everything has turned out. This project has been a true labor of love, and it's been worth every step to ensure it meets the quality you deserve. We sincerely appreciate your incredible patience and support throughout this process. Thank you for being part of this journey—we can’t wait for you to experience Timeless Caverns first-hand!

Here are some final sneak peeks at some of the graphics I put together for the Codex!

Updated models for the Heroes, we wanted them to be much more than just "pregens"
The characters are fleshed out for OSE and 5e, and ready to rock!
Of all the amazing designs to come out of this project, I think the Dracolisk is my favorite!
I made these AoE transparencies for my fellow Gygax Society GMs and they loved them, I figure you would too, so there's one in the box!

Talk to you again tomorrow!

Timeless Caverns Update - Shipping Date Announced!
12 months ago – Sun, Mar 16, 2025 at 09:21:47 AM

Dear Backers,

I am excited to announce that the Timeless Caverns boxed set's shipping date is officially set for April 1st! This project has been a labor of love, and I’m excited for you all to get your hands on it and dive into the adventure we’ve put together.

Unfortunately, I need to share a personal update as well. Over the past few weeks, I lost three precious weeks of work due to a health issue—the same one that hospitalized me last year. It was misdiagnosed back then, but thankfully, I believe we now have a clear understanding of the situation, and I am optimistic that I won’t have to go through it again in the future. I sincerely want to apologize for the delay this has caused. I know how much you’ve been looking forward to this project, and I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.

Despite this setback, I’m happy to report that we’re in the final stretch. If not for the health interruption, we would already be shipping! Everything has been printed except for the books and cards, which I’m nearly done transcribing into their final form. All that remains now is to finalize the treasures, pregenerated characters, and stats for the last few bosses before updating the table of contents.

The 5 boxes of laser cut foam to keep your minis secure!

To give you a better look at the incredible content coming your way, I’ve attached a link to a Google Drive folder containing numerous pictures. Inside, you’ll find shots of the new minis we announced earlier, photos of the boxes, and a current demo of the Heroes and Horrors codex. This is the best way to preview all the amazing things included in your boxed set so far!

Thanks to some significant improvements in my rendering software I was able to go back and create much better graphics for the Codex

Timeless Caverns Codex and Media

Next up for us, we’re headed to Gary Con this week, and we’re excited to see as many of you there as possible! Feel free to give me a good-natured kick in the shins for how long this has taken—it’s well deserved. We’ll be running several of our games, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ll also be running sessions for both the Gygax Society and Gooey Cube this year. On that note, I’m proud to announce that I’m now officially working with the Gygax Society to bring the living campaign of Okkorim to life, along with some other exciting projects in the pipeline.

As soon as we return from Gary Con, we will complete printing the Codex and ship Timeless Caverns. The boxed sets will go out daily as they are packed up via UPS from our shop directly to you. The Early Bird Behirs will ship separately. They are too massive to try and fit into the boxed set.

After it's completely fulfilled, we’re gearing up for a Kickstarter around May, Chupacabra: Aftermath, with two 1-shot adventures from DM Juggy and John LoCascio, which will follow up the 2 possible endings to our now best-selling Curse of the Chupacabra. We’ve committed to completing this project before launching the crowdfund to redeem ourselves. We’ve learned so much and fine-tuned an efficient print process over the past few months, ensuring a smoother experience for everyone!

Once again, thank you so much for your support, understanding, and excitement for Timeless Caverns. It won’t be long now before your adventures begin!

With appreciation,

DM Juggy, Joe Ingenito

Timeless Caverns Update: Laser Beams and 3d Screens
about 1 year ago – Thu, Jan 23, 2025 at 09:34:32 AM

Greetings Backers,

I want to share some success that has brought us one step closer to completion. We have successfully prototyped our custom foam packaging and become proficient with the Xtool. Cutting the sample below took about three minutes, saving us a ton of time on packaging.

1" cut foam came out flawless in just minutes!

Some further progress, here are some shots of the 3 miniatures we had to go back to the drawing table on. These are in draft at the moment but close to moving into prototyping!

Barlgura
Troglodyte
Chasme

I also had some time to take some good pictures of the upgraded and new models we have included as part of the set, so Timeless Caverns has a more complete "Old School DnD" flavor.

Group Photo
Gelatinous Cube, new to the set. You can fit a character mini underneath!
Salamanders, new to the set. Printed in red or ruby, too cool a model and monster NOT to include.
Dire Beetle, new to the set, but takes the place of the Cave Cricket, which would be kinda boring.
The mighty minotaur! Couldnt resist adding this model, its beefy!
Rounding out the Golem section is one of my all time favs, the Bone Golem.
The Rhino Beetle was part of the initial plan, the off, and now back again with this cool little guy.
The new Formorian is way creepier with his shoulder mouth!
The initial Hill Giant was kinda goofy, this one looks like The Incredible Hulk!

Next Steps:  Finish models, finalize rule book, and start packing the models we have ready. The cards have also been tested and protyped, but Ill save those for another update!

Thanks again

Overdue Updates!
about 1 year ago – Sat, Jan 18, 2025 at 09:16:03 AM

Dear Backers,

Again, my apologies for the absence. I made a video to say so face-to-face despite looking like a ghoul. Life has been totally crazy, but I want to assure you this project WILL be completed and be to you ASAP. I get into the details in the video, but if you do not want to watch me babble the long and short of it:

  • I had some license issues with a few models and needed to replace them.
  • Packaging the miniatures was problematic and required a new solution to get them out to you in good condition.
  • I am now working full-time with Sagaverse Studios. Great things are coming, but we must wrap up Timeless before I even mention anything else.

Here are some "proof of life" shots to show that we aren't dead, and, in fact, have been quite busy at the forges.

You will hear from us much more often now. Using what I have learned over the last few years, I plan to make videos on printing miniatures for DnD. Feel free to reach out anytime if you are inclined to print your own and need someone to discuss ideas with.

Thanks again,

DM Juggy- Joe Ingenito

Finally, Some Good News!
over 1 year ago – Thu, Nov 14, 2024 at 05:52:02 PM

Exciting news!

We have officially started shipping. Today, the Torchbearer's Tribute tier map sets were dispatched to our backers. To help make up for the hurricane delays, we included The Dungeon Veil for 36"x48" maps.

The Timeless Tubes!
Reppin' the OSE
The maps are rolled inside a heavy duty 36" tube, with a vinyl printed wrap, shrink-wrapped, and then rolled in packing paper for shipping.

We will begin sending out the miniature and full boxed sets following these; the final hurdle is completing and printing the Heroes & Horrors Codex. Once the Codex is edited, we will send all digital goods, with a target date of 12/2/24. We aim to have all physical orders delivered before the end of the year, keeping in mind potential holiday shipping delays. To give you a sneak peek of what's to come, we've included some pictures of the new miniatures and shots of the actual boxed set prototype (note the graphics will be improved before shipping). The Box measures a whopping 22 " x 14 " x 10 ".

Back

Here are some of the new models printed. We've been working on upgrading our picture game! As I mentioned in the last update, a few of the initial monsters had to be remodeled or replaced due to structural or license issues, but we made sure to replace them with other old-school monsters that are better models.

Salamander
Cloaker
Minotaur
Remodeled Dao

We hope you are as thrilled as we are to finally be in the final stages of fulfilling this project. We remain committed to getting everything to you as efficiently as possible. Thank you for your unwavering support and enthusiasm!

What's Next for Sagaverse Studios?

Our primary focus is on completing Timeless Caverns, but we have other exciting events and updates to share.

  • We will be at Inverness Nerd Fest on November 24th for our local friends and fans. It's an outdoor flea-market-style event for an afternoon in the park. We have plenty of prototype models, maps, and books we will be looking to liquidate to make room for 2025 projects.
  • Tampa Nerd Con just recently passed, but we will be working as the RPG Ambassadors to help grow the convention for 2025. We are planning it for Halloween weekend, and have some Ravenlofty aspirations.
  • Gary Con XVII is right around the corner! I will return to DM games for Gaxx Worx and am excited to join the Gooey Cube team! I have a great lineup of adventures: my upcoming 5e Magazine special Shadows of the Abyss, Luke Gygax's Rogues' Gambit (one of the best!), and, of course- Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth with the Timeless Caverns. Hope to see you at the table!
  • We recently completed printing the maps for Pulp Hummocks' Gods of the Forbidden North Volume 2. How awesome is it to be a part of an Ennie Award-winning story that is probably the best mega campaign for OSE? IT'S AWESOME! Volume 3 is hitting Kickstarter around February, with a full set option on books and some great maps and stuff from us—something you will want to watch for.
  • In 2025, we will release several projects, but there will be no more large-scale boxed sets like this one. Instead, we will focus on content—one-shot adventures, our comic series, a series of novellas by Nedka, Curse of the Chupacabra Part 2, and our Sagaverse Campaign Guide, which acts as an upgrade to your favorite OSR's and 5e that creates an unlimited content engine across all systems and universes. I don't plan to launch any crowdfunding campaigns until the projects are ready for release. Lots of lessons were learned building this operation from the ground up, but we are poised to be able to produce a lot of work next year!

Thanks again for your patience; we again apologize for taking a while to rebound!

Be Great
