Timeless Caverns Update: Laser Beams and 3d Screens

Greetings Backers,
I want to share some success that has brought us one step closer to completion. We have successfully prototyped our custom foam packaging and become proficient with the Xtool. Cutting the sample below took about three minutes, saving us a ton of time on packaging.
Some further progress, here are some shots of the 3 miniatures we had to go back to the drawing table on. These are in draft at the moment but close to moving into prototyping!
I also had some time to take some good pictures of the upgraded and new models we have included as part of the set, so Timeless Caverns has a more complete "Old School DnD" flavor.
Next Steps: Finish models, finalize rule book, and start packing the models we have ready. The cards have also been tested and protyped, but Ill save those for another update!
Thanks again

Overdue Updates!

Dear Backers,
Again, my apologies for the absence. I made a video to say so face-to-face despite looking like a ghoul. Life has been totally crazy, but I want to assure you this project WILL be completed and be to you ASAP. I get into the details in the video, but if you do not want to watch me babble the long and short of it:
I had some license issues with a few models and needed to replace them.
Packaging the miniatures was problematic and required a new solution to get them out to you in good condition.
I am now working full-time with Sagaverse Studios. Great things are coming, but we must wrap up Timeless before I even mention anything else.
Here are some "proof of life" shots to show that we aren't dead, and, in fact, have been quite busy at the forges.
You will hear from us much more often now. Using what I have learned over the last few years, I plan to make videos on printing miniatures for DnD. Feel free to reach out anytime if you are inclined to print your own and need someone to discuss ideas with.
Thanks again,

Finally, Some Good News!

Exciting news!
We have officially started shipping. Today, the Torchbearer's Tribute tier map sets were dispatched to our backers. To help make up for the hurricane delays, we included The Dungeon Veil for 36"x48" maps.
We will begin sending out the miniature and full boxed sets following these; the final hurdle is completing and printing the Heroes & Horrors Codex. Once the Codex is edited, we will send all digital goods, with a target date of 12/2/24. We aim to have all physical orders delivered before the end of the year, keeping in mind potential holiday shipping delays. To give you a sneak peek of what's to come, we've included some pictures of the new miniatures and shots of the actual boxed set prototype (note the graphics will be improved before shipping). The Box measures a whopping 22 " x 14 " x 10 ".
Here are some of the new models printed. We've been working on upgrading our picture game! As I mentioned in the last update, a few of the initial monsters had to be remodeled or replaced due to structural or license issues, but we made sure to replace them with other old-school monsters that are better models.
We hope you are as thrilled as we are to finally be in the final stages of fulfilling this project. We remain committed to getting everything to you as efficiently as possible. Thank you for your unwavering support and enthusiasm!
What's Next for Sagaverse Studios?
Our primary focus is on completing Timeless Caverns, but we have other exciting events and updates to share.
We will be at Inverness Nerd Fest on November 24th for our local friends and fans. It's an outdoor flea-market-style event for an afternoon in the park. We have plenty of prototype models, maps, and books we will be looking to liquidate to make room for 2025 projects.
Tampa Nerd Con just recently passed, but we will be working as the RPG Ambassadors to help grow the convention for 2025. We are planning it for Halloween weekend, and have some Ravenlofty aspirations.
Gary Con XVII is right around the corner! I will return to DM games for Gaxx Worx and am excited to join the Gooey Cube team! I have a great lineup of adventures: my upcoming 5e Magazine special Shadows of the Abyss, Luke Gygax's Rogues' Gambit (one of the best!), and, of course- Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth with the Timeless Caverns. Hope to see you at the table!
We recently completed printing the maps for Pulp Hummocks'Gods of the Forbidden North Volume 2. How awesome is it to be a part of an Ennie Award-winning story that is probably the best mega campaign for OSE? IT'S AWESOME! Volume 3 is hitting Kickstarter around February, with a full set option on books and some great maps and stuff from us—something you will want to watch for.
In 2025, we will release several projects, but there will be no more large-scale boxed sets like this one. Instead, we will focus on content—one-shot adventures, our comic series, a series of novellas by Nedka, Curse of the Chupacabra Part 2, and our Sagaverse Campaign Guide, which acts as an upgrade to your favorite OSR's and 5e that creates an unlimited content engine across all systems and universes. I don't plan to launch any crowdfunding campaigns until the projects are ready for release. Lots of lessons were learned building this operation from the ground up, but we are poised to be able to produce a lot of work next year!
Thanks again for your patience; we again apologize for taking a while to rebound!
Be Great

Project Update: The Timeless Caverns

Dear Backers,
We hope this message finds you safe and well! We wanted to reach out and update you on our ongoing projects. Unfortunately, due to the significant impact of hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton, we've encountered some delays. We had considerable flooding from Debby, which we managed to mitigate for Helene. Still, we suffered roof damage and interior damage, and finally, Milton came in and just kind of finished us off. We just got power back on Wednesday. I've also had an injury to my arm, which adds to the challenges. Rest assured, our team is dedicated to keeping things moving forward! We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we tackle these hurdles and work to get back to our usual pace of progress. Thank you for being such a supportive community!
Project Status:
We've tweaked some miniature designs to enhance their detail and overall appeal and ensure they meet our high standards. A few monsters have been swapped out with better models of different creatures from the original adventure.
While production is not yet fully completed, we were on the brink of shipping. We would have already started dispatching the finished products if it hadn't been for the recent weather challenges. Nevertheless, we remain optimistic and are pushing hard to prepare everything for you. Stay tuned for more updates this week, including pictures of the new miniatures and the box (which is more of a suitcase, as it turns out!) and an updated timeline that we will share with you soon. Thank you for your ongoing support on this journey.
My apologies for the lack of transparency. I wanted to make that "things are headed out" post, but I should have just let you all know what was going on, even if I had to type with one arm. I'll be updating often until we ship.

Backerkit Surveys en route & Studio Updates

Greetings Dear Backers,
I'm sorry I haven't updated you here for a while; truth be told, every waking second outside my job and family has been dedicated to building out our print shop and preparing the Timeless Caverns to ship out in August. I keep waiting for the perfect moment when the shop is clean and it isn't 400 degrees out to send an update video, but I doubt that day will come, so expect a sweaty Juggy video this weekend to show off the capabilities YOU have enabled.
Project Status: The Backerkit Surveys are going out now. The first 5% are sent first as a smoke test. If you get one today, please fill it out so I can validate everything works and send it to everyone else. As promised, Curse of the Chupacabra Saga Edition is available to you for just $20.00 as an add-on. These books destroy the POD version—heavy laminated cover, 100# glossy bond paper with no corners cut, and only 200 are being printed. The Heroes & Horrors Codex from Timeless Caverns will be printed to the same specs; it will only be saddle-stitched instead of perfectly bound. The complete Digital package, including the color maps and The Heroes & Horrors Codex PDF, will be available through Backerkit in mid-July. We are still on track to start shipping the Boxed Sets at the end of August.
Next Steps: We are finalizing the dimensions for the box and then ordering them—the only thing we are not printing in-house. We are also finishing up the Codex for print and digital distribution.
Some Pics: I am an awful photographer, but I wanted to share a few shots:
Other Sagaverse News:
Thanks to you, our print shop is open and taking on a few select orders before we scale up operations in September. Curse of the Chupacabra writer John LoCascio has decided to take a larger role in the company, and I am honored to make him a full partner. He is moving to our Florida HQ in early August. John will assist in all print and shipping operations and will have much more time dedicated to writing, promoting, and keeping up with our fans.
While I have been swamped with Timeless Caverns, John, Nedka, Miky, Matheus, and the rest of the Sagaverse Team have been working on our next venture: Comics! Our comics will cater to old-school fans who love comics and RPGs and the realms that lie between them. They will also tell tales in our RPG universe to synergize with all of our other upcoming releases. Our first 3 books are part of Backerkit's COMICTOPIA Promotion and will be printed in-house (thanks to you!) The stories, artwork, and price point will take you back to the Golden Age of comics. Please give our teaser page a follow to learn more:
Convention Updates: Unfortunately, I could not attend NTRPG due to a health issue. I know I really missed out on a great one, hopefully next year. I will be DM'ing at Virtual Gooeycon for the Alphinius and the Gooey Cube team during Gen Con. I will update again once I know which adventures and times. Sagaverse Studios will have a booth at Tampa Nerd Con and hopefully Quest Con in Florida this fall, I will be DM'ing at both events. We are also a sponsor for Tampa Nerd Con, it's a fantastic small con in the first week of November right on Tampa Bay when the weather is perfect. You can spend a day playing games and your nights carousing at the beach! I hope to meet some of you this year!
