The Timeless Caverns
Realizing that our epic gaming experience lacked the depth we dreamed of, we innovated a nimble yet effective system. This sleek solution enables players to launch their favorite adventure in minutes, bypassing the need for any preparations.
The "rules-lite" streamlined system in the Heroes & Horrors Codex lets you quickly set up your preferred version (OSE or 5e), providing a unique, randomized adventure each time. It's ideal for extended single sessions or tournament-style play, enabling multiple participants to manage the creatures. This makes it excellent for convention play, filling gaps between campaigns, or as its own tabletop game. The core of the simplified game is strategic exploration, combat, and treasure hunting, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and resource management to survive the caverns and defeat the bosses. It is as simple as:
- Choose your system: OSE or 5e
- Choose your teams: Heroes -or- Horrors
- Assign/Randomize Start locations
- Roll out the Battlemaps and pick your minis
- Start Adventuring!
We're also thrilled to unveil upcoming enhancements to reward your loyalty and draw new backers into our midst:
- The Dungeon Veil is a 36x48 canvas mat complemented by 20 high-gloss sheets designed for the ultimate tabletop mystery and exploration. Roll the Veil up as the Heroes progress, and use the sheets to cover any extraneous parts. The Veil will help conceal every backer eligible for physical maps.
- Heroes Anew: Joining our ranks are three new intrepid explorers - a steadfast Dwarven Warrior, a mystical Elf Fire Sorcerer, and a crafty Human Mage. These heroes will stand alongside every backer eligible for physical miniatures.
- Unlock the Lore: We're introducing the Timeless Caverns Custom Token Frame, complete with a PSD for personalization and 50 VTT tokens, bringing every creature and hero to life for all backers across all tiers, except the $1 pledge.

The Final Tier (The Eternal Champions' Vault): A new pinnacle of support, this tier supersedes our current $199 offering, adding several treasures. (Yes, Early Birds, you get all of this too):
- OSE & 5E GM Screen Inserts: Sturdy cardstock panels featuring essential mechanics for seamless OSE and 5e gameplay.
- Heroes & Horrors Cards: A deck of 50 sturdy cards, bringing monsters and heroes to life with full-color art and stats for both OSE and 5e.
